External roller shutters

External roller shutters are used mainly for window safeguard against vandalism and protection against excessive insolation and overheating.
At the same time they provide protection against adverse weather conditions like: hail, snow, gusty winds.
Modern external roller shutters include polyurethane foam insulators and increase thermal insulation and acoustic insulation of buildings.
It allows saving heat energy consumption needed to heat the rooms.
Roller shutters are operated manually by a belt, as well as electrically by a switch or a remote control.
The size of the box depends on the overall height of the roller shutter and armour type. There are versions with and without a mosquito net.

External roller shutters are mounted on the building wall structure beyond the plane of the windows. Depending on the shape of the lintel the box of the roller shutter can be visible or concealed.

Mounted roller shutters

Mounted roller shutters are assembled solely at the time of the facility construction or while replacing the window woodwork. The roller shutter box is mounted onto the window frame or door frame, the guides are bolted to the external part of the window frame and the entire ensemble of the window with the roller shutter is mounted in the window opening.
After plastering the roller shutter box is invisible and the roller shutter becomes a part of the window.

Profil Pa Perforacja

There are two types of roller shutter profiles available: PA39 and PA45 with perforation or without perforation.

PA39 is a aluminium profile 39 mm high filled with polyurethane foam.
Maximum roller shutter’s width is 2500 mm and maximum surface area is 6.5 m2.

PA45 is a aluminium profile 45 mm high filled with polyurethane foam.
Maximum roller shutter’s width is 3000 mm and maximum surface area is 6.5 m2.

The profiles are offered in a wide range of colours suited for the window colours standards.
