Door closers are used for automatic and self-acting closing the door behind a person coming in. It decreases the amount of warm air escaping the room and entire building and also offers more guarantee of the door being always shut in case of access control existing in the building (e.g. an entryphone, security systems, etc.). In doors with door closers a door closure sensor is often mounted – it signals the current status of opening/closing the door to the building security systems.
For our doors we mainly use reliable door closers with hydraulic damping manufactured by the GEZE company. GEZE’s offer includes door closers which allow adjustment of working parameters according to user’s individual requirements, from smallest surface-mounted door closers to powerful devices intended for fire protection and smoke protection doors. Door closer systems with link arms or guide rails can be put together from many elements
of equipment, thanks to which individual, unique designs can be obtained.
TS 1500 door closer
Product properties
– TS 1500 door closer can be used for shutting a door with a leaf width of up to 950 mm or up to 1100 mm.
– Adjustable shutting strength, equals EN3 or EN4.
– Shutting strength value adjustment through rotation of the arm bracket.
– Final shutting phase (latching) and shutting speed adjusted hydraulically.
– Universal, for left side and right side doors.
– Option: Opening position lock within the range of 70°-150°
– Can be used for fire protection doors and smoke protection doors.
TS 2000 NV door closer
Product properties
– TS 2000 NV door closer with link arm, for 1100 mm wide leaves
– Continuous shutting strength adjustment within the range of EN 2-4
– Adjusted final shutting phase and shutting speed
– Universal, for left side and right side doors
– Can be used for fire protection doors and smoke protection doors
– Option: Opening position lock within the range of 70°-150° (by a locking mechanism)
– Option: latching phase adjusted hydraulically by a screw placed on the front surface of the device and opening damp function (GEZE TS 2000 NV BC).
TS 4000 door closer
Product properties
– TS 4000 door closer with link arm for up to 1400 mm or up to 1600 wide leaf.
– Shutting strength adjusted continuously in the range of EN 1-6 or EN 1-7
– Latching phase adjusted through modification of angular position of the link arm and shutting speed
– Integrated damping of opening and shutting strength optical indicator
– Universal, for left side and right side doors
– Can be used for fire protection doors and smoke protection doors
– Option: Opening position lock up to the angle of 150° (additional locking mechanism)
– Option: shutting delay function up to 30 s adjusted by a screw placed on the front surface of the device (TS 4000S).
GEZE BOXER door closer
Product properties
– GEZE BOXER is a concealed door closer for up to 1400 mm wide leaf.
– Shutting strength adjusted continuously in the range of EN 3-6
– The opening and closing damping functions are available after the door closer is mounted in the leaf
– Universal, for left side and right side doors
– Can be used for fire protection doors and smoke protection doors based on the result of conducted research
– Steplessly adjustable open position lock (80°-120°)
