THERMO-ALU CORRODE DOOR

The THERMO-ALU CORRODE series is an increased thermal insulation product (Ud = 0.5 do 1,0 W/(m2*K),
produced on the basis of ALUPROF MB-79N, MB-86 and MB-104 PASSIVE systems with attachment panels.

The characteristic feature of this series is an independent overlay made of corroded Corten steel, mounted on the outside of the door leaf.
It is a steel grade characterized by high resistance to weather conditions.

Under an actual layer of rust, Corten steel forms a dense layer of phosphates or sulfates. This barrier protects the surface from further corrosion.
The creation of an attractive surface from rust begins in two weeks and ends after about a year and a half to three years.
The color of rust is initially light brown, but it gets darker over time.
In this process, it is important that the surface should dry out after wet periods.
If the steel is exposed to permanent moisture, the protective layer is not effective and Corten steel rusts just like normal steel.
Depending on weather and environmental conditions, different rust colors are formed on the surface, even on identical parts of the material. This is not a defect, but an advantage and therefore does not entitle to complaints.
Note - The first formed layer of rust is not permanent and may therefore leave rust marks on adjacent building materials.

The door can be expanded with the help of additional lateral and upper transoms with any kind of pane or with decor-matt sand-blasted glass with a pattern matching the pattern of the door leaf.
FUHR multi-point locks are used for locking, in many locking and control configurations.
Hinges: choice of wing or roller hinges (WALA) and concealed hinges (AXXENT).
Glazing in the door leaf: none.
Thickness of polyurethane foam in the leaf: 70 - 90 mm.

In order to increase the resistance to break-ins we offer in addition:
- 6D-C class inserts,
- anti-burglary protection of hinges,
- P4A class panes.
